Let’s talk Crohn’s & Colitis Northern Ireland aims to improve the lives of those affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD); the main types being Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. There are currently over 260,000 people in the UK affected by these debilitating conditions with no cure at present.
Our main aims are as follows;
  • Provide support to those affected by IBD
  • Raise awareness of the conditions within our local communities and across Northern Ireland.
  • Enable people to feel better supported and less isolated due to their condition
  • Educate the general public about IBD through sharing our personal experiences and information on the conditions via our website, literature, information stands, social networking, and the media.
  • Point people in the direction of the local and regional services available to best meet their needs.
  • Campaign for improved health care and support for those affected by IBD in Northern Ireland.

  • We run events throughout the year across Northern Ireland to help raise funds for the charity, get members together, improve support for those affected, and raise awareness within our local communities. Check out our Facebook page or contact us to keep updated with upcoming events.
